This past week was the WPPI convention in Las Vegas (Wedding Portrait Photography International). Lots of great classes to learn from, and a few times there were some shooting opportunities. Granted, we rented a car and drove out to Red Rock Canyon and just tore up the awesome scenery and lighting. What a blast.
Then a walk down the Vegas strip at night. As some of you may know, I am ridiculously obsessed with Bokeh. What is bokeh? It is the STUFF in the background that is out of focus…and the yummy shape it makes. You’ll see a few shots where I purposely left them out of focus to just have shots of Bokeh. I’m sure they’ll come in handy at some point.
Here are two shots of the in focus and out of focus. This is an insight on how backgrounds are picked for shoots cause this is what it looks like behind you…
My brain tickles from all this stuff.
